Welp. I did it. I just submitted my first-ever federal job application.
The chances of my getting hired are really slim. Unless the hiring people look past my non-veteran status, 20-year-old-ness, lack of federal experience, and lack of completion of 4+ years of undergrad and look at the fact that I’m already doing about 90% of the job that I applied for, having doing it (well) since February, and am just generally awesome.
I think I’ll be disappointed if/when I don’t get this opening, but I totally still have time. It would just be a good excuse to revamp my life.
